Lori Wilhelmi is the principal and architect of EventSpaceHub.com. In 1992 she moved from Wenatchee to Seattle to attend the business school at the University of Washington, and received a degree in Marketing. Her first job was with the advertising agency, Ogilvy & Mather, as an assistant account manager for Intel.

As the millennium approached and Google opened its doors, Lori was already entrenched in the Internet craze. “I was fascinated with the knowledge of search and the endless opportunities of exploring what people were looking for online.”

Lori worked with Google and was quickly involved with multiple digital start-ups in the Seattle area. While working with a small private company, Reach Local, she set up the first Google Ad Words as a lead account manager.  The company’s business exploded and went public, paving the path for paid Google adverting.

In 2010 she went to work for a local SEO (Search Engine Optimization) marketing company with a focus on restaurants. She developed her expertise in all facets digital: SEO, website design, social media, and blogging. A concern of clients that she heard over and over was the lack of ability to target customers for private events at their establishments.  She knew how to find targeted customers online. She decided to build Event Space Hub – a website that exclusively focused on targeting and attracting event space customers for its restaurant and hospitality clients in the Puget Sound.

In addition, the website’s concierge space-finder service has located special event spaces for companies such as Nike, Microsoft, Quick Books, Nordstrom, Callison Architecture, Washington State Nurses Association, Canadian Consulate, Expedia.com, and many others.

Now a leader in the digital search forefront for Event Space, Lori says, “I absolutely  love helping local owners grow their businesses and succeed.”
