The following venues are at the top of our list of exceptional spaces that may not necessarily be known to a wide range of party venue seekers.  We hope that you will delight in discovering them, and consider one or two for your party or other special event in the Seattle area.

Metropolist (SODO) – this is a hip, modern space with the dramatic effect of an urban industrial warehouse with 16-foot walls, floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed overhead piping and original hardwood floors.  Whether you need an open floor plan or a multi-dimensional space, this amazing venue is fully customizable — ideal for weddings, company events, auctions, fundraisers, receptions and other special celebrations.  If you are planning a party or other event, Metropolist can help you realize your vision.  Non-profit organizations receive a discount for fundraisers and stakeholder parties.

Westland Distillery (SODO) – is the nation’s largest single-malt whiskey distillery, and a premier event experience.  It offers a mix of rustic, old-world architecture with an impressive array of industrial equipment that creates a unique and memorable environment for any party.  The Tasting Room and Bar is the main entertaining area.  The attached Cask Room is a more intimate setting, and the Billiard Loft is ideal for smaller, more casual parties.  For an in-depth understanding of the whiskey-making process, the distillery offers small group tours that are followed by a tasting session.

Cast Iron Studios (Bellevue) – offers two adjoining spaces that are available individually or together.  When entering through the large metal doors of the Grand Hall you’re greeted by a dramatic staircase that winds down into an inviting urban retreat, featuring high ceilings and a 15-foot bar in a vintage industrial setting.  There is no rental fee for the space, only food and beverages charges via their exclusive caterers, Purple Cafe, Barrio Lot #3 and The Commons.  Cast Iron Studios offer the Eastside an exciting venue option for a range of private events.  Their event planning team can help you provide a one-of-a-kind experience for your guests.

The VUDE (South Lake Union) – is like no other venue in Seattle.  It is the ultimate collaboration of an open kitchen with a dining area where guests can enjoy the ambiance and watch the show in the kitchen.  You can invite a chef of your choice or let the venue’s team help you build a spectacular all-inclusive event.  Larger groups can be accommodated by expanding the party space into the back warehouse.  This is a unique and versatile venue that is ideal for corporate events, classes on cooking or mixology, holiday events, birthday parties, wine tastings, sports-viewing parties, wine-paired dinners and receptions.

Tavern Hall (Bellevue) – is a great spot for large events since it can accommodate up to 400 people and has plenty of parking.  Designed with architectural antiques from around the world, this is a very cool, unique space in Bellevue.  Three distinct rooms, that open to the main action, can be rented individually or combined for a larger crowd.  This is casual entertaining at its best for an event focused on socializing, networking and having fun.  Guests can feast on tasty bites from servers’ trays, while playing or watching games or interacting with other guests.  Rooms have shuffleboard, darts, video games and outlets for charging guests devices.

Artist Loft at Hotel Max (Downtown Seattle) – this 6,300 sq. ft. space is a soaring, light-filled space with concrete floors and a saw-tooth ceiling dotted with skylights.  This is a fabulous space for special events, from art and fashion shows and musical performances to birthday and holiday celebrations.  Guests enter the space through an 8-foot car elevator, which kicks off the memorable experience.  The space can be used “as-is” with you bringing in your own design or theme elements, or the staff can help realize your vision with custom decor packages for all budget levels.  Only your imagination can limit the possibilities of this amazing space.

The Chef’s Table at Local 360 Cafe & Bar (Belltown) – has a casual, farmhouse-chic decor.  It has its own kitchen and bar, and a country farm table that can accommodate up to 55 seated guests, or a larger group as a reception space.  If your event a company luncheon, a plated dinner or a cocktail reception, your guests will feel at home in the comfortable atmosphere.  Dining options include specialty menus, a la carte options and all-inclusive menu creations; and you will have access to the most extensive locally sourced spirits collection in Washington State for custom-crafted cocktails, wine pairings and non-alcoholic options for your guests.
